Get to know your team: BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs, and three private infusion rooms for families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Diploma, Associate or bachelor’s program.
- Current and valid RN license in Texas.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- At least one (1) year of oncology nursing experience.
- Clinical research experience.
- Experience in an acute care, infusion center, or cancer treatment setting.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®)
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC®)
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP®)
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing oncology clinical research studies in compliance with federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, sponsor requirements, and institutional policies.
- Serving as a key liaison among patients, physicians, research sponsors, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the successful implementation of clinical trials while maintaining patient safety and protocol integrity.
- Providing direct patient care to research participants.
- Coordinating study-related activities.
- Monitoring compliance with study protocols.
- Supporting advancements in cancer treatment through clinical research.
