The Clinical Trial Manager will be responsible for reviewing the scope of projects and resourcing related to Clinical Monitoring. This role involves defining and implementing project-specific functional standards, goals, and expectations for the Clinical Monitoring team, including KPIs, KRIs, QTLs, and other agreed-upon metrics. The Clinical Trial Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for Clinical Monitoring aspects of designated projects and act as an advocate for the Clinical Monitoring team with the client. This position will coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Clinical Monitoring team, ensuring assigned CRAs receive appropriate training and that all monitoring activities are conducted in accordance with protocols and SOPs. The role also involves oversight of key clinical monitoring metrics, data quality, and the Trial Master File, as well as active involvement in risk planning and assessment. Additionally, the Clinical Trial Manager will mentor CRAs, provide performance feedback, and may conduct monitoring activities or serve as a trainer/mentor. Successful cross-functional relationships with internal and external team members are crucial. The role may also involve specific CPM tasks, oversight of CRA timesheets, and serving as a resource for investigative sites or sponsors.
