About The Position

Curantis Solutions is seeking a Clinical Trainer and Content Development Specialist to help hospice and palliative care organizations transform their clinical workflows through exceptional training and documentation. This role involves delivering engaging training using clinical expertise and building a comprehensive library of training materials. It's a hands-on position requiring a balance between client training (on-site and remote) and developing documentation, facilitator guides, and workflow materials. The role also includes leading the content development team, ensuring high-quality training materials, and contributing to a small company culture where collaboration and continuous improvement are key. Travel is up to 50%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years as RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant
  • 2+ years teaching or training electronic health record (EHR/EMR) software
  • Proven track record creating training documentation, facilitator guides, or instructional materials
  • Experience in small company environments where you've worn multiple hats
  • Background in process documentation, workflow analysis, or continuous improvement
  • Management, mentoring, or team leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and remote clinical EHR training to new clients (2-3 client go-lives per month)
  • Partner with implementation teams to understand client goals before training
  • Train appropriately sized groups based on instructional best practices
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians during go-lives, supporting smooth adoption
  • Create comprehensive best-practice workflow documentation for clinical processes
  • Develop detailed facilitator guides with timing, talking points, and transition cues
  • Design structured training agendas with clear learning objectives
  • Build training materials including user guides, quick reference cards, and job aids
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation and documentation
  • Manage content development staff through regular coaching and performance feedback
  • Delegate content tasks and ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Evaluate and recommend LMS platforms, then manage content within the system
  • Identify process improvements and implement changes that increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with sales teams on realistic training schedules and capacity planning
  • Contribute clinical expertise to product, sales, and support teams as needed
  • Jump in on company-wide initiatives—because in a small company, everyone contributes beyond their core role
