About The Position

For 85 years, Jewish Family & Children's Services of Southern Arizona (JFCS) has strengthened the well-being of children, adults, families, and older adults throughout greater Tucson. We are a nonprofit, nonsectarian behavioral health and social services agency serving people of all backgrounds. Our clinicians work within a collaborative team committed to compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. JFCS is seeking an experienced therapist to provide outpatient psychotherapy to a diverse client population. We prefer a clinician with an independent Arizona license, but will also consider an associate licensed clinician with at least two years of post-master's clinical experience. This position will serve a varied caseload that includes children, adolescents, couples, and families. Candidates should have experience working with at least one of these populations and be willing to work with the others, with consultation and training as appropriate to their skills and scope of practice. The therapist provides assessment, diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, psychotherapy, risk assessment, care coordination, and discharge planning. Services are provided in-person and through telehealth when clinically appropriate and permitted by payer requirements.
