About The Position

Victory Bay Clinical Therapists provide high-quality individual therapy services to individuals within the Outpatient Program. Clinical Therapists work with adult and adolescent populations, providing individualized treatment and support based on each client’s clinical needs. Therapists are responsible for completing the intake process for individuals assigned to their caseload, developing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring personalized and effective care.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Social Work, Counseling or related field.
  • Must hold an active qualifying addiction certification (APIT, IAAP, ICACI, ICACII, NCAC I, NCAC II, CADAC II-V)
  • 2+ years of experience providing clinical services in the field of mental health; experience and training in at least 1 evidenced-based practice. (EMDR, DBT, CT, etc.)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record software requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with telehealth services and virtual, HIAA-compliant meeting platforms

Responsibilities

  • Providing individual and family therapy via HIPAA compliant telehealth platform
  • Development of individualized Treatment Plans in collaboration with the client.
  • Timely completion of all clinical documentation.
  • Suicide Intervention and Crisis Planning
  • Maintain compliant electronic medical records according to licensing regulations and company standards.
  • Assists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department.
  • Additional responsibilities that are essential for the department to be successful will be assigned accordingly as the company continues to grow.
  • Demonstrates ability to function effectively as a part of team. Uses outstanding oral and written communication with employees at all levels of the business for support and sharing of information.
  • Take constructive feedback and prevent discourse among our peers.
  • Critically thinking should be the solution when problems arise. Having the ability to accepts constructive criticism well in an open and non-defensive manner.
