About The Position

Now hiring qualified LBSW's/LCSW's for Clinical Therapist / Counselor openings in Larned, KS! This is a 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend, working 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts available. The role involves providing therapeutic groups, individual therapy, treatment planning, and assessments for patients admitted to the hospital. You will assist patients throughout their hospital stay with situations related to their psychiatric care and treatment, including crisis intervention and post-discharge support to reduce re-hospitalization. This role requires routine understanding of the therapy process, revisions to the treatment plan, and collaboration with the Treatment Team. You will also complete Biopsychosocial assessments and provide group therapy with individual follow-up.

Requirements

Must have a Kansas license as one of the following: Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Current CPR/BLS Certification a plus.
Clean background check upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Previous clinical experience in a mental healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic groups, individual therapy, treatment planning and assessments for the patients admitted to the hospital.
Assist patients throughout their hospital stay with any situations related to their psychiatric care and treatment.
Routine understanding of the therapy process, crisis intervention, assistance in post-discharge support to reduce re-hospitalization, revisions to the treatment plan and working across disciplines or with the Treatment Team.
Complete Biopsychosocial assessments and provide group therapy with individual follow-up.
