In this role, our Clinical Therapists provide evaluation and treatment of patients in collaboration with a Physician or licensed Psychologist. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with behavioral health disorders and/or dual diagnoses. You will provide information and counseling to patients and family members, utilize individual, group, and family therapy, and document all services according to program and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and Family
  • 2 years Social Services work experience
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Direct, or administer psychotherapeutic treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress.
  • Perform thorough patient psychosocial assessments to explore the physical, psychological, and social aspects of the patient and their conditions.
  • Teach, take continuing education classes, and attend conferences or seminars to increase understanding of mental, emotional, or behavioral states or disorders.
  • Document patient care information, and ensure timely and accurate completion of patient care records in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and evaluate patient data or test findings to diagnose nature or extent of mental disorder.
