About The Position

The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team at The Brook Hospital - KMI, a facility that has been providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services since 1985. The Brook – KMI is a 110-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. The hospital prides itself on receiving direct referrals from local professionals and organizations, reflecting its effectiveness in treating mental illness and addictions. This role involves obtaining psycho-social assessments, conducting family/group therapy, completing documentation, case coordination, and coordinating discharge planning. The therapist will also assist in developing community resource information, perform marketing functions as assigned, and help maintain the program environment in compliance with safety and security policies. Ensuring good clinical judgment for optimum patient care and participating in continuing education activities are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited school in Social Services, Psychiatric, or related Behavioral Health field
  • Must be licensed in the state of Kentucky (CSW, LCSW, LPC, CADC, LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, or LPP)
  • 0 - 1 years of related experience

  • 1 - 3 years of related experience

Responsibilities
