About The Position

Pine Rest is seeking a compassionate Clinical Therapist to provide assessment, counseling, and treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health care. In this role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, deliver evidence-based therapy, and help patients build the skills and support needed for recovery. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers. Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Current full Michigan licensure as an LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent clinical license
• Evaluation and individual psychotherapy skills and Electronic Clinical Record skills required
• Ability to provide high-quality, person-centered behavioral health services

Nice To Haves

• Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Credentials (CAADC)
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• experience running group therapy is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches
• Collaborate with treatment team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and community resource coordination
• Promote a recovery-focused, person-centered treatment environment
• Manages caseload, collaborates with other treatment team members regarding patients' progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions.
