About The Position

Pine Rest is seeking a compassionate Clinical Therapist to provide assessment, counseling, and treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health care. In this role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, deliver evidence-based therapy, and help patients build the skills and support needed for recovery. Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current full Michigan licensure as an LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent clinical license
  • Evaluation and individual psychotherapy skills and Electronic Clinical Record skills required
  • Ability to provide high-quality, person-centered behavioral health services

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Credentials (CAADC)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • experience running group therapy is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches
  • Collaborate with treatment team members to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and community resource coordination
  • Promote a recovery-focused, person-centered treatment environment
  • Manages caseload, collaborates with other treatment team members regarding patients' progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions.
