About The Position

The Clinical Testing Senior Lab Technician (hair color) position will be primarily focused on formulation, product testing and in-vitro hair testing in our hair color lab. All work must be executed in a scientifically sound, safe, and timely manner. Executes work with excellence with mininal daily supervision. Clarifies for understanding & prioritization and proactively updates supervisor on status and flags issues / help required. Generates and records data on repetitive and routine experiments with excellence. Proficient in calibration, use and maintenance of standard lab / pilot plant equipment. Assists on making routine batches following defined protocols and routine equipment. Conducts routine analysis on stability batches. Conducts physical tests on batch samples vs defined specifications. Develops knowledge of Company culture, resources, processes etc. Competent in standard lab / pilot plant procedures & policies. Builds understanding of category.

Requirements

  • Associate of Science and/or Technology Degree required
  • 2+ years of Laboratory experience in test methods, research & development and/or quality assurance
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel.
  • Experience with technical writing in a scientific field.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day)
  • Experience in operation of scientific instruments and applicable software
