Clinical Technician 2 - Infusion Center
About The Position
Inova Loudoun Hospital’s Infusion Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 2. The position provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses and requires effective communication with team members, patients, and visitors, as well as professionalism and integrity. Additional duties may be assigned. The role is full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. The hire must be available for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training, including two virtual orientation days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., six classroom-style shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., virtual training modules, and on-unit shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience working as a Clinical Technician, or completion of an acute care clinical rotation while actively enrolled in a nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Availability for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training.
