About The Position

Progressive Care Unit North at Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join their team. This role is crucial in providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and maintaining effective communication within the healthcare system. The position requires a commitment to professionalism and integrity. New hires must be available for a comprehensive six-week paid training program, which includes virtual orientations, classroom-style sessions, online modules, and on-unit shifts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of: Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM), Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total), Virtual training modules, On-unit shifts.
