About The Position

Supports the patient care team by performing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse. According to established procedures, collects and performs limited tests or specimens per physician order. Assists physicians and nurses with designated procedures. This is a PRN position with a 7 p.m.–7 a.m. schedule, one weekend per schedule, and one holiday per year.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant; State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA); current enrollment in an RN program (BSN or ADN) with the first clinical rotation successfully completed; or one year of direct patient care or nurse aide experience including vital signs, bathing, and ambulating, which may be considered in lieu of certification or education.
