About The Position

Supports the patient care team by performing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse. According to established procedures, collects and performs limited tests or specimens per physician order. Assists physicians and nurses with designated procedures.

This is a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The schedule includes every third weekend and rotating holidays. The position is eligible for up to a $4,000 retention bonus.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following qualifications: be a Certified Medical Assistant; be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA); be currently enrolled in an RN program (BSN or ADN) and have successfully completed the first clinical rotation; or have one year of direct patient care or nurse aide experience that includes vital signs, bathing, and ambulating.
