About The Position
The Clinical Tech works in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia. Under the direction of an RN or LPN, the Clinical Tech assesses and provides basic patient care needs while maintaining patient care standards. The role requires self-motivation and the ability to function as a member of a health care team.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent; students in a medical field program may be hired into a clinical technician position.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Computer skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
- Hospital or clinical experience preferred.
- Medical terminology preferred.
Responsibilities
