About The Position

The Clinical Systems Analyst (RN) works under the guidance of the Information Systems Director as part of the clinical information systems team. The role serves as a liaison supporting implementation, support, and maintenance of the clinical information system. Work includes tracking and resolving problems, managing enhancement requests, participating in system testing, redesigning workflows, supporting change management, and providing ongoing education to facility employees and physicians. The position also supports clinical issues after hours as a secondary backup on-call resource. Aiken Regional Medical Centers is a 273-bed acute care facility in Aiken, South Carolina, serving Aiken and surrounding communities. Its services include behavioral health, emergency care, orthopedic surgery, maternity, rehabilitation, imaging, and wound care.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Three years of hospital clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Information Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between clinicians, the facility, and corporate Information Systems as appropriate.
Train physicians and clinicians in the use of information systems.
Conduct training for GME residents, medical students, and nursing students.
Set up and maintain physician access to EPrescribe and EPCS.
Perform routine system monitoring and ongoing testing related to patches and upgrades.
Assist in defining training strategies and coordinating physician end-user training.
Provide after-hours on-call support for clinical issues as a secondary backup.
Perform other duties as assigned.
