About The Position

Under direct supervision, provides application support, complex problem analysis and resolution, in-depth application assistance, and serves as the application subject matter expert. Provides training to all clinical and non-clinical staff. Support the implementation of quality measures and process improvement. Participate in a rotating on call schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.

Responsibilities

Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to understand and define user needs, gather and analyze data and recommend solutions
Performs general problem solving and assistance on diverse software applications for department users.
Receives and records incident related information using a variety of tools, techniques and procedures.
Conducts analysis, gathers information (i.e. click steps, logs, screen shots), troubleshoots and resolves or recommends resolutions to user problems.
Collaborate with appropriate personnel on the training of Cancer Center and Hospitals personnel in new applications and changes to systems as applicable, including appropriate staff on all projects requiring training on existing or new systems.
Serves on committees as a liaison for employees, physician support and training development
Responsible for designing, developing and implementing training material and resources.
Coordinate project implementation with vendors associated with specific products.
May work directly with other support teams, as needed to resolve user issues and request enhancements to the system applications.
Maintains records related to applications including, user lists, user accounts and security.
Maintains knowledge of current application developments/trends in area of expertise.
May provide functional direction to other staff performing the same or similar type of work.
