Medical Assistant or EMT or LPN - Waukesha South Clinic - Family Med - Full Time
About The Position
Join a collaborative Family Medicine team that values teamwork, compassion, and exceptional patient care. You'll work alongside an experienced provider and a supportive clinical team while building meaningful relationships with patients of all ages in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role is a full-time position with a schedule of Tuesday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with Mondays off. This schedule is anticipated to remain in place through approximately July 2027. Following a planned provider transition, the schedule may change based on the needs of the practice. Additional details will be shared as they become available.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant/EMT/LPN program or equivalent experience.
- Current CMA, RMA, EMT, LPN, or other accepted clinical credential for the position.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous outpatient or primary care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, health histories, and medication reconciliation.
- Prepare patients and assist providers with examinations and office procedures.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments within your scope of practice.
- Document accurately in Epic while coordinating patient care activities.
- Respond to patient messages, refill requests, and follow-up needs.
- Work collaboratively to provide an exceptional patient experience and maintain efficient clinic operations.
