About The Position

Earn a Sign-On bonus (up to $3,000) when you join our team as a Clinical Supervisor, MA-C, LPN or RN! This is a Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm, non-exempt (hourly) position. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will perform the clinical skill set of your role (MA-C, LPN or RN) per FCN standards and act as a mentor, preceptor or trainer as needed for staff to achieve competency. You will ensure clinical staff meetings are held on a regular basis. You will act as a liaison between patients, staff and management at site, solving problems, issues and concerns in a professional manner. You will attend scheduled clinical leadership meetings to review regulatory, performance, clinical, legal/ethical or process concerns. You will actively participate in and promote all FCN Initiatives. You will supervise and schedule clinical staff & other groups as directed by the Practice Manager. You will ensure clinical staff understand and adhere to appropriate protocols and processes as defined by applicable laws and Family Care Network. You will be responsible for collaborating with other departments and agencies, including meetings and committees as appropriate. You will ensure routine clinical functions are monitored/assessed consistently to meet quality standards and compliance (i.e.: medications and samples are checked for expirations and equipment is serviced and controls are performed according to manufacturer’s standards). You will review and approve timecards as directed by Practice Manager and ensure appropriate use and response to email in a timely manner. You will ensure clinical staff performs their role in compliance with applicable laws and FCN guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring adequate assessment, documentation and communication to Practice Manager and FCN administration when violation of policy, laws, rules or scope of practice is in question. You will be responsible for timely completion of new hire clinical training competency form. You will be responsible for ensuring demonstration and observation of operational procedures that are site specific are completed within the 90-day time period. In collaboration with Practice Manager, you will conduct annual performance reviews and provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited MA-C, LPN, or RN program.
  • Current Washington State Department of Health MA-C, LPN, or RN license in good standing.
  • Acquire and maintain BLS certification as per FCN BLS policy.
  • Demonstrates clinical understanding of providing care per standards.
  • Critical thinking, triage assessment, problem solving, and documentation reflect consistent meetings of standards, are demonstrated in meeting passing score of random chart review.
  • Consistently meets the overall Clinical competency standards for EMR documentation.
  • Accurately schedule, change, cancel appointments in practice management system.
  • Competency in accessing information from the hospitals EMR.
  • Effectively manage stress.
  • Discern and maintain confidentiality (i.e. HIPAA, proprietary information, disciplinary actions, etc.).
  • Works as part of a team, models a positive work ethic and customer friendly relations.
  • Prioritize and multitask detailed projects with frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency working with MS Word, Excel, email and Databases.
  • Comprehend and communicate information accurately, clearly and professionally (verbally and in writing, in person and via phone) with patients, all levels of personnel, and other individuals and groups.
  • Employees are required to meet immunization standards in accordance with federal, state, and organizational health and safety guidelines, as applicable to the role.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical office experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
