About The Position

BCCS is Seeking a Clinical Supervisor at our Georgetown location for our Drug Diversion Program! Since 1985 Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. We promote hope and empowerment to persons and families touched by mental illness, substance abuse, HIV and multiple occurring diagnoses, and their related challenges.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field
3 years' experience in the substance abuse field and/or mental health
1 year of supervisory experience.
Within 1 year, must have obtained certification as CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) if not already certified.

Nice To Haves

CADC, CCDP, LPC, or LCSW
5 years' experience in the substance abuse field and/or mental health

Responsibilities

Responsible for reviewing and approving intakes/assessment and ensuring that clients are placed in the correct level of care.
Conduct and promote staff orientation, training, and development. Direct, supervise, and evaluate staff. Ensure that counselors follow agency policies and procedures.
Meet with assigned clients to formulate and execute clinical goals.
Assign clients to counselors / case managers.
Provide regular and specially requested reports
Provide outreach and educational activities in the community.
Resolve counselor / client conflicts. Promote staff morale and conduct supervision with staff on a weekly basis.
Participates in weekly treatment team meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
