About The Position

BCCS is Seeking a Clinical Supervisor at our Georgetown location for our Drug Diversion Program! Since 1985 Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) has been a trusted provider of outstanding substance abuse and behavioral health treatment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field
  • 3 years' experience in the substance abuse field and/or mental health
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Within 1 year, must have obtained certification as CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) if not already certified.

Nice To Haves

  • CADC, CCDP, LPC, or LCSW
  • 5 years' experience in the substance abuse field and/or mental health

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reviewing and approving intakes/assessment and ensuring that clients are placed in the correct level of care.
  • Conduct and promote staff orientation, training, and development. Direct, supervise, and evaluate staff. Ensure that counselors follow agency policies and procedures.
  • Meet with assigned clients to formulate and execute clinical goals.
  • Assign clients to counselors / case managers.
  • Provide regular and specially requested reports
  • Provide outreach and educational activities in the community.
  • Resolve counselor / client conflicts. Promote staff morale and conduct supervision with staff on a weekly basis.
  • Participates in weekly treatment team meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
