Clinical Supervisor We are offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for this position in our Women's Clinical Program (paid half on first paycheck, half after 90 days; must work a full-year to avoid repayment of the bonus). Position Summary: The Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision to outpatient clinical staff in addition to providing high quality and compassionate care to clients through various treatment methods in an outpatient setting.

Requirements

  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office products, including email.
  • Experience with using and navigating Electronic Health Records and other industry related types of applications.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals struggling with MH & SUD.
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree
  • Must meet the qualifications of an independently licensed mental health or addictions professional, who can provide clinical services in the treatment of mental illness and addiction such as a LISW-S or a LMFT-S or a LPCC-S.
  • Knowledge of: Area resources that may aid clients in on-going recovery, safety rules and procedures, the organization’s policies and procedures, and de-escalation techniques for individuals who may be frustrated or exalted.
  • Working knowledge of different pathways to recovery and social systems.
  • Abilities: Multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. Able to provide ongoing supervision / guidance / support to residential treatment staff and be able to supervise residential treatment operations. Communicate information clearly and effectively. Recognize unusual or threatening conditions related to persons with disabilities.
  • Standing, bending, stooping, sitting, walking, reaching above and below shoulder, repetitive use of hands to operate office equipment. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing training to outpatient treatment staff.
  • Provide ongoing clinical and administrative supervision to outpatient treatment staff as licensure allows.
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures for the clinical department and outpatient operations.
  • Collaborate with the Outpatient Lead Admin to ensure smooth operations within the clinical department.
  • Plan, oversee, facilitate, and document client treatment.
  • Facilitate or Co-facilitate assigned individual, group, or family sessions as needed.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments as needed.
  • Develop individual treatment plans for each assigned client.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents are completed timely and accurately.
  • Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
  • Consult with other professionals when indicated.
  • Provide Crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques.
  • Adhere to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures, including compliance with all behavioral, ethical, and client boundary expectations.
  • Maintain client records according to the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintain organization, Ohio MHAS, and CARF required training.
  • Maintain license or registration appropriate to profession and appropriate to job requirement, including appropriate amount of continuing education at all times of employment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
