About The Position

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is an independent imaging organization with four outpatient imaging centers, seeking an experienced Women’s Imaging Manager to lead our Mammography, Ultrasound, and DEXA departments. This full-time leadership role oversees daily operations across multiple locations and plays a key role in maintaining exceptional patient care, staff performance, and regulatory compliance. Schedule & Operations: Full-time, leadership position Mammography services operate 6 days per week Ultrasound services operate 7 days per week Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and operational oversight for Mammography, Ultrasound, and DEXA services across four outpatient centers Lead Mammography operations, including MQSA compliance and inspection preparation Maintain all departmental credentials and accreditations, including ACR requirements Supervise imaging staff, including scheduling, training, employee evaluations, and performance management Ensure appropriate staffing coverage to support extended service hours Support hiring, onboarding, and competency assessments for imaging personnel Promote quality assurance, patient safety, and consistent imaging standards across all locations Collaborate with radiologists and administrative leadership to optimize workflow and patient experience Qualifications: Registered Sonographer or Mammography Technologist (required) Previous Women’s Imaging leadership or supervisory experience Knowledge of MQSA regulations and ACR accreditation processes (we will train) Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to manage multi-site operations and competing priorities Why Join Us: Leadership role within a growing, independent imaging organization Opportunity to make a direct impact across multiple outpatient centers

Requirements

  • Must have relevant experience in Women’s Imaging, including prior supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology, Sonography, or equivalent in experience.
  • BLS certification within first 60 days of hire. Radiologic Technologists must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and/or ARDMS and maintain current valid registration from ARRT/ARDMS.
