About The Position
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all treatment services, including onsite medical services, psychiatric services, case management services, and substance use services. This role involves creating and implementing clinical supervision for staff, managing client intake and assignments, and ensuring the quality of charting and service implementation. The position also requires providing on-call clinical expertise and conducting staff evaluations.
Requirements
- Position requires an LMSW, LCSW preferred.
- One-year experience with clinical supervision is preferred.
- One-year postgraduate experience working with families who have a history of substance use, mental illness, and chronic homelessness.
- Familiarity and psychotropic medications, expected outcomes and adverse side effects to report to primary care psychiatrist.
- Must have exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing regarding complex and sensitive issues or regulations.
- The physical ability to perform the essential job functions as needed.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates all treatment services, including onsite medical services, psychiatric services, case management services, and substance use services.
- Creates and implements both group and individual clinical supervision to staff.
- Updates MAR sheets monthly to be placed in log in medical room.
- Monitors medication count monthly.
- Updates Census Report Sheet for clients monthly.
- Coordinates mental health crisis intervention in conjunction with the Psychiatrist and the Program Director.
- Assures that coordination of services in the community occurs.
- Ensures new intakes are completed and entered in Awards.
- Attends weekly Clinical Case Conferences with Staff.
- Works to ensure that new clients are assigned to the appropriate staff for services.
- Conducts weekly supervision with the Case Manager and Housing Specialist.
- Implements and monitors ongoing Quality Improvement and performance improvement projects.
- Conduct staff evaluations for the Clinical Staff.
- Provide 24 hr.-on call clinical expertise.
- Ensures the overall charting quality, with emphasis on the timely implementation of individualized service plans and follow ups.
- Ensure that all Psychiatric and Psychosocial evaluations are up to date.
- Responsible for a caseload of eight clients.
