About The Position

Nexus Family Healing is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join their residential team in Onamia. Nexus Family Healing provides trauma-informed, family-centered treatment for boys aged 10-19 with significant mental health issues and harmful sexual behaviors. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Services, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or clinically related field required.
  • Experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license. Must meet state regulating agency and corporate driving requirements.
  • Must currently have a LMFT, LICSW, or LPCC license.
  • Must successfully pass a DHS criminal background check.
  • All client-facing employees must successfully participate and complete the Handle With Care behavior intervention method exam and training.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of experience in adolescent, adult and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience preferred.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and ensures a trauma-informed environment.
  • Reviews treatment plans, ensuring treatment programming is individualized and strength-based.
  • Monitors and facilitates staff development in areas such as youth issues, client treatment plans, behavior management, and case file documentation.
  • Works with the leadership team to lead clinical training and treatment conferences.
  • Drives effective delivery of treatment services per company guidelines for individual and group therapy, psychoeducational groups, and transitional plans.
  • Initiates, identifies, and analyzes potential or current program problems or risk factors and generates solutions.
  • Collaborates with the Executive Director in evaluating long-term changes that support the therapeutic treatment process.
  • Ensures program preparedness regarding intake, safety planning, and treatment needs.
  • Provides regular engagement and collaboration with client families, addressing family concerns.
  • Ensures compliance with all statute and regulatory licenses.
  • Facilitates weekly staff meetings to review operations, client, and programming needs.
  • Ensures accurate, consistent, timely, and professional production and maintenance of individual client reports, records, and documentation.
  • Provides ongoing performance management for staff and conducts formal performance evaluations with a development component.
  • In coordination with CQI, reviews program data to identify client and program trends, risks, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintains accountability and oversight of treatment processes, clinical team, and the program.
  • Participates in the selection, training, and ongoing development of direct report positions.
