About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical oversight and supervision for the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Residential Housing Program located onsite at the Northport VA Medical Center. The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and clinical guidance to case management staff supporting Veterans experiencing homelessness and complex medical, behavioral health, substance use, and psychosocial challenges. This role ensures delivery of therapeutic, rehabilitative, and housing stabilization services in accordance with contract requirements and recovery-oriented, trauma-informed practices. This position supports STGi’s mission of serving vulnerable, at-risk, and underserved populations through exceptional care and outcomes. This is for a future opening and hiring is contingent upon STGi’s selection as the successful awardee for an active Request for Proposals (RFP).

Requirements

  • Clinical oversight and supervision experience
  • Experience supporting Veterans experiencing homelessness
  • Experience with complex medical, behavioral health, substance use, and psychosocial challenges

  • Ability to develop and update Individual Service Plans

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of residential case management services.
  • Conduct scheduled onsite clinical supervision and remain available for emergencies 24/7.
  • Review and approve psychosocial assessments, treatment documentation, Individual Service Plans, and progress notes.
  • Ensure Individual Service Plans are developed within one week of Veteran admission and updated every 30 days thereafter.
  • Ensure housing placement planning supports transition to permanent housing within targeted program timeframes.
  • Facilitate case conferencing and interdisciplinary collaboration with VA staff.
  • Support crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization activities.
  • Monitor compliance with VA requirements and program performance standards.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and timely HMIS reporting.
  • Support admissions, discharge planning, and transition coordination.
  • Provide ongoing staff education and quality monitoring.
  • Assist with incident review and corrective action planning.
