National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our Center for Family Engagement and Well-Being Program. This position is responsible for the management, quality, and administration of the clinical programing, such as the provisions of clinical leadership and direct supervision for assigned staff. The Clinical Supervisor serves as a member of the management team ensuring sound clinical practices in programming according to the NYAP mission, vision, and values. The person in this role must hold their LPC, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT licensure. For the Emergency Reception Center staff will provide on-site assessment, clinical and support services to youth awaiting placement. The Reception Center will be a more home-like environment and will be staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. It will be available to accept youth at any time of the day or night, and it will have workstation areas where DCFS staff can use their laptops and work together with NYAP Reception Center staff to locate placements for youth. Services offered at NYAP’s Reception Center will include: Behavioral Stabilization Support, including crisis de-escalation and short-term evidence-based clinical services; Comprehensive Assessment that is strengths-based and person-directed; Intensive and Creative Placement and Permanency Planning based on assessment results and the tenets of the Casey Family Programs Permanency Roundtable Model; Group Treatment, Support Groups, and Structured Activities; Basic Care as needed, including personal care supplies and places to eat, shower, relax and/or sleep for short periods.
