About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor is primarily responsible for oversight of mental health services and case management services to children and their families. Supervises Mental Health Specialists and Substance Use Counselors providing mental health services to clients referred to Community Services Programs. The Clinical Supervisor may have their own caseload in addition to overseeing their staff. He/she acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical & support staff. This is a community-based program serving adults (18+) and older adults, with services provided in the client's home or community. The program utilizes a strength-based approach and works as a multidisciplinary team to support clients with complex needs such as medication, housing, vocational, independent living, and mental health. Services are provided throughout Santa Clara County, with an intensity of about 15 hours per month per client.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social science field.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in a behavioral health field.
  • One (1) year in a leadership role.
  • BBS Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist.
  • Ability to provide Clinical Supervision per BBS regulations.
  • A valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance, with a driving record that consistently meets the agency's eligibility policy.
