About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor (RN) will work on the 3 North Medical Surgical unit at Atrium Health Mercy. This 31-bed unit specializes in the treatment of new onset medical conditions and continuum of care for a diverse population of adult patients. Common medical conditions addressed include pancreatitis, diabetes, sickle cell, gastro-issues, pneumonia, COPD, substance abuse, placement, mental issues, and all other general medical conditions. Atrium Health Mercy is a 196-bed facility of Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), a Magnet designated hospital in Nursing Excellence and a Planetree designated patient-centered hospital. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
  • Experience in Renal care.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work full-time days, three 12-hour shifts per week (7am – 7pm).
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.

  • Experience in a Magnet designated nursing unit.
  • Experience in a patient-centered hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Med/Surg Renal unit.
  • Provide clinical care to a diverse population of adult patients.
