About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital - Northwest Indiana is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (RN) to join their team. This role is responsible for overall clinical nursing practice, ensuring nursing and hospital standards are met, and acting as a resource for nursing staff. The Clinical Supervisor represents administration during events and fosters a culture of professionalism and accountability. They also keep leadership informed of potential risks and provide direct patient care as needed. The position is for Full-Time employees and offers a flat rate of $55/hour for Days or Nights.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of employment.
ICU experience required.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Basic computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

LTAC, Critical Care, or Post-Acute experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assume overall responsibility for clinical nursing practice while on duty, as authorized by the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO).
Provide continuity in decision making and consistency in nursing practice by assuring that nursing and hospital standards and objectives are met.
Act as a resource and support person for the nursing staff.
Represent administration during any event occurring in their absence.
Embrace and demand a culture of professionalism and accountability.
Foster a positive milieu.
Keep CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place facility at risk.
Provide direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.
Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriate, about changes in patient’s clinical condition.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
