Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be CPR certified within three months or less from the date of hire in the practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Other healthcare experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience in supervisory role is preferred.
  • Documentation of certification from an accredited medical assistant training program is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Training and supervising clinical staff including Medical Assistants, Medical Office Specialist and float team members.
  • Ordering all supplies and staying within budgetary guidelines on expenses.
  • Ensuring coverage of the office at all times including creating the schedule, handling request for time off and filling in when necessary.
  • Ensuring payroll is accurate.
  • Working closely with Practice Manager on workflows and audits.
  • Attending meetings with physicians, leadership and management.
