Clinical Supervisor - Music Therapy MT-BC

La Musica TherapyGlendale, CA
$88,000 - $100,000Hybrid

About The Position

LA Musica Therapy provides high-quality music therapy services to individuals and families across the Los Angeles area, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with developmental, neurological, behavioral, and related support needs. Our programs include individualized music therapy sessions, group programs, community-based services, and Regional Center-funded services. We are a mission-driven organization committed to clinical excellence, accountability, compassionate care, professional development, and consistent service delivery. As our clinical department continues to grow, we are seeking a Clinical Supervisor who can provide structure, leadership, accountability, and support to our music therapy team. The Clinical Supervisor is the senior clinical leader of LA Musica Therapy’s music therapy department. This role is responsible for the quality, consistency, accountability, and professional standards of direct service delivery across the clinical team. The Clinical Supervisor provides structured supervision to Music Therapists, supports clinical development, reviews documentation quality, reinforces professional standards, manages performance concerns in coordination with leadership, and helps ensure that services are delivered in a manner consistent with LA Musica Therapy’s clinical, ethical, compliance, and organizational expectations. This is a leadership role, not solely a senior clinician role. The ideal candidate must be comfortable balancing therapist support with organizational accountability. This includes providing direct feedback, addressing documentation concerns, supporting staff through difficult clinical situations, and holding therapists accountable to professional standards. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain a reduced direct service caseload while also carrying supervisory, administrative, documentation review, and leadership responsibilities.
