Under general supervision of the Medical Director and the administrative direction of the Health Center manager, the Clinical Supervisor serves as the lead physician at the designated clinic and provides and manages direct health care for a specified patient population. This role involves leadership, ensuring compliance with all clinical policies and procedures, and serving as a key liaison to the Medical Director regarding clinical and programmatic issues. The supervisor is responsible for working with the Health Center Manager and Nurse Flow Manager to ensure efficient patient care delivery, supervising other medical providers, and assisting in the hiring, evaluation, and training of various staff members. Additionally, the position involves planning and evaluating clinic protocols, providing direction to staff in the absence of other managers, implementing quality assurance studies, managing site budgets, and participating in various committees and community activities. The Clinical Supervisor will also collaborate with the clinical leadership team to meet PCMH recognition requirements and assist in resolving conflicts and patient complaints.
