About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director of Social Work, in partnership with the Social Work Manager, and as part of a multidisciplinary team the Licensed Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision hours to employees actively pursuing their "C" through the Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo LCSW program.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required.
• 10+ years of experience with grief/loss issues, and with community resources.
• Must demonstrate expertise in clinical practice, and ability to mentor others with skill, and provided clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision hours to staff enrolled in the HPCB LCSW program.
• Apply social work methods and theory to the diagnosis and patient plan of care.
• Provides training consultation and case direction through patient case discussion and guidance in reflection, evaluation, and support in the delivery of services through an assessment-based treatment planning model under the direction of the Director of Social Work and support from Social Work Manager to ensure compliance with the HPCB care model.
• Regularly reviews and evaluates professional work.
• Facilitates in-person individual / group meetings (via Teams when weather is a barrier)
• Coach and model effective strategies for participants in the LCSW Supervision program
• Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of all state and federal regulations.
