About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director of Social Work, in partnership with the Social Work Manager, and as part of a multidisciplinary team the Licensed Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision hours to employees actively pursuing their "C" through the Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo LCSW program. Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Clinical Supervisor: Provides clinical supervision hours to staff enrolled in the HPCB LCSW program. Apply social work methods and theory to the diagnosis and patient plan of care. Provides training consultation and case direction through patient case discussion and guidance in reflection, evaluation, and support in the delivery of services through an assessment-based treatment planning model under the direction of the Director of Social Work and support from Social Work Manager to ensure compliance with the HPCB care model. Regularly reviews and evaluates professional work. Facilitates in-person individual / group meetings (via Teams when weather is a barrier) Coach and model effective strategies for participants in the LCSW Supervision program Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise. Maintains up to date knowledge of all state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required.
  • 10+ years of experience with grief/loss issues, and with community resources.
  • Must demonstrate expertise in clinical practice, and ability to mentor others with skill, and provided clinical supervision.
