About The Position

FSRI is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership and support for behavioral health clients. This role involves clinical oversight of assigned intensive service programs, including those provided by Designated Collaborating Organizations (DCOs), and coordinating client care for DCO services. The position emphasizes a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care, ensuring the mission is implemented across FSRI and partner agencies. Responsibilities include performing crisis assessments, brief treatment, consultation, managing evidence-based treatment models, participating in on-call emergency services, and conducting clinical training as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required.
  • Required to be independently licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor.
  • Proficiency in professional writing.
  • Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs.
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
  • Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical Supervision Experience strongly preferred.
  • Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated.
  • Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
  • Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight of assigned intensive service programs, including services provided by Designated Collaborating Organizations (DCOs).

  • Support a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care and ensure mission is implemented throughout FSRI and Partner Agencies.

  • Manage evidenced based models of treatment.
  • Participate in on-call emergency services.
  • Conduct clinical training as necessary.
