About The Position

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Clinical Supervisor-BH to join their team. This role, under the direction of the Clinical Manager, involves supervising and coordinating clinical activities within the Behavioral Health Center. The Clinical Supervisor will support clinical staff, ensure client needs are met, maintain schedule compliance, and drive operational efficiency through daily management and monitoring of clinic objectives. This position is part of the behavioral health department leadership team and works collaboratively with administrative staff to ensure fiscal, clinical, and licensing integrity (Medi-Cal, Medicare, DMC, et. al.). Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor partners with Site Supervisors to oversee site operations, including reception, creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, monthly reporting, and ensuring facility safety and cleanliness.

Requirements

Hold a California license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Possession of a current California License as a Clinical Psychologist as granted by the California State Board of Psychology.
At least three (3) years’ experience working in a specialty mental health setting.
Knowledge of the principles of psychology applicable to care, treatment and rehabilitation of children and adults with behavioral health diagnoses; knowledge of record keeping and report writing techniques; ability to organize and carry out new programs and procedures.

Two years post-licensure with the ability to provide clinical supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides psychotherapy to a caseload of clients (5-10), which may include high acuity clients and clients with difficult presentation and/or assessments/FTS.
Provides technical direction and clinical direction to clinical staff; and may provide clinical supervision to associate therapists and/or student interns as applicable and necessary based on the site needs.
Assist in the organization and management of staff and patient flow in Behavioral Health Center.
Collaborates with Clinical Manager to plan and report on performance outcome measures, as well as team adherence to contract standards, Medi-Cal and Medicare compliance and retention of The Joint Commission behavioral health accreditation as it applies to the Behavioral Health Center assigned.
Maintain 1-2 clinic days in which client care is provided directly, supports during staff shortages, or as needed directed by Clinical Manager.
Promote to staff and the community the vision and mission of Clinica Sierra Vista Behavioral Health department and its work.
Ensure the veracity and excellence of the clinical work being performed, including the timely documentation of such work by provider staff.
Assist with BH reports for behavioral health outcome measures and collaborates with Clinic manager to establish Corrective Action Plans, when needed.
Assist and ensure a safe, clean, informative, and welcoming environment specific to behavioral health services for clients and in multiple integrated patient settings.
Inform the Clinical Manager of any information/concerns relating to care of clients, site upkeep/maintenance and staff performance.
Collaborates with other Clinical manager to sustain, promote, and grow departmental programs and services.
Participates in strategic planning and facilitate department meetings as needed.
Participate in organizing and presenting trainings to staff at BH centers, provider, or contract partners on BH services and process.
Comply with established Clinica Sierra Vista and BH policies.
Maintain confidentiality and security at all times.
Other duties as required.
