Requirements

  • Education: - Professional School, College Masters, or more
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Valid Florida Pharmacist License
  • Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

  • Provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients, physicians and staff of UF Health Central Florida.
  • Is involved in various activities that include, but are not limited to: interpretation of physician orders, maintenance of medication profiles and providing drug information
  • attendance and involvement in varied medical staff committees/meetings
  • adverse drug reaction reporting and follow-up, therapeutic interchanges, parenteral nutrition monitoring, pharmacokinetics dosing and follow-up, medication dosing and follow-up (ex. coumadin, antibiotics) and IV to PO recommendations.
