White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire a Clinical Staff Pharmacist who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Clinical Staff Pharmacist, you will prepare and dispense medications, utilize pharmacy support personnel, provide in-service education for physicians, nurses, and other practitioners, and perform pharmacy functions to assure safe and effective medication delivery to the Nursing Department. You will also design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapy, help assure adherence to medication-use policies, and participate in the formulary process. Additionally, you will comply with all accreditation, regulatory, and safety requirements, maximize work efficiency with the use of technology, respond to requests for drug information, ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care, and participate in the departmental performance improvement program. Maintaining confidentiality of patient information and participating in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication errors are also key responsibilities. You will manage time effectively.
