About The Position

Charlotte Radiology, a leader in clinical imaging services for over 50 years, is seeking a full-time Clinical Site Manager for its Belmont, NC location. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an outpatient facility, ensuring exceptional patient care, and managing a team of three or more employees. The position involves a blend of administrative leadership and clinical duties as a mammography technologist. Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of mammography experience and healthcare management with direct staff supervision required.
  • Proficiency in Diagnostic imaging and Stereotactic biopsy and imaging.
  • ARRT certification in Mammography.
  • Junior College/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • CPR certification.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to read and interpret medical reports, extract pertinent information, and present it concisely.
  • Anatomic knowledge of breast tissue pattern and related structures, as well as breast pathology and treatment.
  • Knowledge of radiographic technique and positioning.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound positioning and anatomy (if stationed at a diagnostic site).
  • Intimate knowledge of clinical site procedure and workflow, and departmental needs for smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, both internal and external.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivator, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, high level of confidentiality, comfortable with multiple computer applications, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the assigned outpatient facility.
  • Monitor and address employee, patient, and physician matters and concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to physician and technologist protocols, patient procedures, quality control, and regulatory issues.
  • Order supplies and manage timekeeping for permanent onsite staff.
  • Perform evaluations of permanent staff.
  • Foster positive working relationships with referring offices.
  • Manage conflict resolution and promote excellent customer service.
  • Perform clinical duties as a mammography technologist, including gathering patient information, ensuring correct exam scheduling, obtaining and evaluating images, tracking patient files, and assisting with retrieval of prior studies.
  • Proficiently perform Diagnostic and Stereotactic Imaging and Biopsy.
  • Conduct employee-focused management functions: interviewing/hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, coaching, development, staffing/scheduling, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Monitor clinical operational performance, including volumes, scheduling, quality, and patient engagement.
  • Collaborate with direct reports, clinical staff, radiologists, and administration to enhance outpatient site operations.
  • Work with scheduling supervisors, schedulers, and referring physicians to resolve issues and concerns.
  • Oversee the scheduling of fixed site technologists and Patient Representative partners to ensure adequate clinical coverage, including vacation requests and unexpected call-outs.
  • Plan staffing needs for expansion and create flexible work schedules.
  • Manage timekeeping for direct reports, including inputting missed punches, making time adjustments, tracking and approving PTO, and approving payroll.
  • Monitor and track overtime, attendance, and timekeeping to ensure policy adherence and address violations.
  • Provide monthly staffing hours for the front desk.
  • Oversee the orientation of new Mammography Technologist hires to the site.
  • Implement coaching and re-training of employees in conjunction with the Lead Trainer, Operations Manager, and Patient Representative Manager.
  • Address transition and changes to workflow as needed.
  • Proactively communicate with staff, conduct regular staff meetings, and disseminate important information.
  • Encourage employee feedback and address concerns.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives for the site.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ensure necessary office supplies and equipment are available.
