Clinical Shift Supervisor - Full-Time - 2nd Shift

Position Summary The primary purpose of your position as a clinical shift Supervisor is to supervise the clinical team during their shift, including resident care and medications, assistance with clinical oversight, and employee relations.
Requirements
- Nursing License as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with relevant experience from the state of Michigan preferred.
- If not licensed as a Nurse, 3-5 years of experience as a clinical supervisor with Med Tech experience required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and oversee resident care needs of the clinical staff
- Manage day-to-day clinical staffing needs
- Attendance at various meetings involving resident care issues
- Communication liaison between management, physicians, families, and staff
- Initiate and update resident care plans, assist with discharges and admissions, assist with complicated clinical needs of residents, assist with medication pass and treatments
- Assist in ensuring orientation and training process of clinical staff, conducting employee evaluations, counseling personnel as needed, and keeping written personnel records as required.
