About The Position

The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care within the Adolescent PHP/IOP program at Innova Recovery Center. This role provides direct clinical services while leading the clinical team, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and maintaining the integrity of clinical programming.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in a mental health field
  • Active, independent licensure in Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Must have experience with assessment and treatment of PTSD and issues related to complex trauma.
  • Experience providing therapy in PHP, IOP, residential, or inpatient settings
  • Experience working with adolescent populations and family systems
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Exemplary customer service and professionalism
  • Clear, kind communicator who loves people and works well with others
  • Detail oriented with the ability to follow through on tasks
  • Ability to maintain calm composure in crisis
  • Comfortable and proficient in using de-escalation/MI/redirection techniques

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with program expectations and level of care requirements
  • Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans to reflect client progress and clinical needs
  • Oversee clinical interventions across the program to ensure quality, appropriateness, and effectiveness of care
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide clinical support for high-acuity situations
  • Complete and oversee utilization reviews, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and clinical staffing
  • Supervise therapists, counselor associates, and interns, providing ongoing guidance and clinical oversight
  • Assign caseloads and ensure appropriate distribution of clinical responsibilities
  • Conduct regular chart audits to monitor documentation quality and ensure compliance
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action to improve clinical performance and documentation standards
  • Complete performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of clinical staff and interns
  • Oversee the structure, scheduling, and consistency of group programming
  • Coordinate clinical coverage to ensure continuity of care, including supporting caseloads and groups when needed
  • Support client onboarding, level of care transitions, and discharge planning
  • Identify and resolve clinical, operational, and documentation-related issues impacting client care
  • Ensure compliance with Innova Recovery Center policies, The Joint Commission standards, and BHE C regulations
  • Monitor timeliness and accuracy of all clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and utilization reviews
  • Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external compliance reviews
  • Implement corrective actions to address documentation or compliance deficiencies
  • Support continuous improvement of clinical processes, workflows, and outcomes
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations and client care
