Clinical Services Educator-Respiratory Therapy
About The Position
As Clinical Services Manager- Respiratory Therapy, you will lead and standardize clinical education that supports safe, consistent home respiratory care and DME services across the organization. This role exists to strengthen competency, documentation quality, and regulatory readiness while elevating patient and caregiver understanding. Key responsibilities include designing and delivering onboarding and ongoing training for Respiratory Therapists and applicable staff; building competency tools, checklists, and reference materials; serving as the respiratory therapy subject-matter resource (oxygen, PAP, NIV, aerosol and airway clearance therapies); supporting patient/caregiver education standardization; and partnering on quality reviews, audits, and policy/protocol updates.
Requirements
- Current New Mexico Respiratory Therapist license (RRT preferred)
- Associate degree required
- 3+ years RT experience preferred
- Effective coaching/presentation skills
- Strong documentation and organization
- BLS/CPR
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong preference for DME/HME or home respiratory care background
