About The Position

Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) is a senior clinical leader responsible for delivering subject matter expertise that drives provider engagement, supports commercial strategy, and enables successful drug launches across oncology, rare disease, and cell and gene therapy. This is a highly visible, field-based role that partners cross-functionally with business development, marketing, operations, and provider-facing teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and impactful clinical communication. The Clinical Science Liaison also leads key initiatives in education, advocacy engagement, and clinical content strategy, serving as a trusted expert to both internal stakeholders and external providers.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinically relevant field (e.g., Nursing) strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years in clinical or field-based liaison roles.
  • Experience in oncology and/or rare disease.
  • Proven success supporting or leading drug launches.
  • Experience working with providers, advocacy organizations, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with conference strategy, abstract development, and clinical presentations.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, MSN, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy or highly specialized therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary clinical partner to the provider-facing sales organization.
  • Design and implement structured clinical education programs, including curriculum development and success metrics.
  • Deliver high-impact education (live and virtual) on disease states, treatment landscapes, and therapies.
  • Support clinical strategy and execution across all phases of drug launches (pre-launch, launch, post-launch).
  • Partner with Business Development to translate early insights into actionable plans across internal teams.
  • Ensure alignment of clinical messaging, training, and materials across the organization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in oncology, rare disease, and cell and gene therapy.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant dissemination of clinical information.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of clinical resources (tear sheets, educational materials, digital content).
  • Maintain accurate therapy information (indications, dosing, administration, access) across platforms in a centralized system.
  • Identify and participate in key national and regional conferences, advocacy events, and professional meetings.
  • Coordinate regional engagement efforts, including with ONS and other industry organizations.
  • Lead end-to-end conference execution, including planning, approvals, ROI tracking, and follow-up.
  • Support or lead abstract, poster, and presentation strategy and development.
