About The Position

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented Registered Nurse for a Full-Time Nurse Educator position. This is an exciting position and key clinical role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis. Some of your daily activities will include the development, implementation, and delivery of the nursing staff development programs including: orientation, in-service education, continuing education, competencies, and nursing student experiences. Requirements

  • Current New York State RN license
  • College degree in Education or a related field
  • 2+ years supervisory and clinical experience in skilled nursing, medical surgical nursing or related field
  • Strong communication and follow up skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior educator or training experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Prior experience working with a learning management system (LMS) strongly preferred

Responsibilities
