About The Position

The Clinical Resource Nurse Coordinator demonstrates clinical leadership to improve patient care and nursing practice across the continuum. Serves as a resource to assist with clinical outcomes and quality improvement initiatives. Serves as Apache coordinator for organization. Serves as vascular access team member to obtain difficult IV access for inpatients.

Requirements

  • Associate degree- graduate from an accredited, state approved, school of nursing
  • Current Ms. RN license
  • 2 (two) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting

  • Maintains expertise in the area, maintains proficiency in rapid assessment and management of deteriorating patients while collaborating with the care team
  • Successful completion of probation and annual skills/competency requirements

  • Regular and timely attendance is required for this position

  • Performs patient care service as delegated
  • Serves as critical care coordinator in the delivery of patient care services
  • Participates in care coordination activities
  • Serves as a collaborator of communicating with the health care team to achieve patient care and service goals
  • Serves as a resource for client, patient, staff, family, and community
  • Serves as an educator in formal and informal settings for the health care team and clients

  • Acts as a resource and support for staff in developing conflict management, delegation, communication skills, and accepting accountability
  • Identifies staff educational needs and implements plans as developed
