Clinical Resource Manager
About The Position
The Clinical Resource Manager reviews all admissions and may conduct on-site clinical evaluations of agency related staff related to assessment. This role participates in clinical staff orientation and continuing education in matters related to Oasis accuracy and coding. The manager is responsible for timely (within 48-72hrs) processing of SOC Oasis and initial progress note to determine consistency with supporting medical documentation, the referral document, and the Admission Case Conference. They also assist in general orientation and ongoing education of new staff/contractors to their activities and responsibilities, including in-home orientation and supervisory visits for purposes of demonstrating and evaluating documentation.
Requirements
- Dual certified in OASIS and diagnosis coding (required)
Responsibilities
- Reviews all admissions
- May conduct on-site clinical evaluation of agency staff related to Oasis assessment
- Participates in clinical staff orientation and continuing education in matters related to Oasis accuracy and coding
- Responsible for timely (within 48-72hrs) processing of SOC Oasis and initial progress note to determine consistency with supporting medical documentation, the referral document, and the Admission Case Conference
- Assists in general orientation and ongoing education of new staff/contractors to their activities and responsibilities including in-home orientation and supervisory visits for purposes of demonstrating and evaluating documentation
- Review and complete 30 day summaries
- Assist the team with overflow charts especially towards month end as well as PTO coverage
- F2F review with coding, QA and creation of 485 for SOC’s
- QA and update recert oasis as indicated with new 485
- Review post facility discharges with the creation of Post hospital order
- Review and update coding for Oasis F/u-SCIC
- Communicate/collaborate with field clinicians regarding updates to oasis documentation, provide education as needed with follow up
