About The Position

This role involves a variety of research, data, and clerical duties of a routine and technical nature to support the conduct of clinical research. Participates in day-to-day operations related to the collection, compilation, and documentation of clinical research data. The study is a randomized clinical trial testing a digital intervention for disordered eating and body image. Other studies of which the individual may be involved include clinical trials testing interventions for maladaptive weight control in individuals with type 1 diabetes and studies to improve diet and exercise and disease management in clinical populations.

Requirements

  • Work requires completion of an Associate’s degree.
  • Work requires a minimum of two years of relevant research experience.
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working directly with patients or research participants is preferred, as well as experience with behavioral or mental health, diabetes or eating concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct study visits, including administering cognitive tests, physiological tests and other assessments.
  • Communicate with participants via phone and email to facilitate appointments.
  • Conduct recruitment and retention tasks.
  • Data extraction, entry and processing and quality assurance.
  • Maintain study and participant-level documentation.
  • Oversee research assistants.
