Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, etc.; and maintaining and updating data generated by the study. Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a six-month grace period from their hire date (up to one year if starting on a per diem basis) to provide degree equivalency verification. The Diabetes Research Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a highly motivated individual to assume the position of Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) I. This individual will work as part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of diabetes doctors, nurses, and educators, under the general supervision of the Research Center Nurse Director and Principal Investigator. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with research participants, nurses, and physicians and learn about clinical research in a large academic center. The Diabetes Research Center is dedicated to advance innovative and rigorous clinical research aimed at improving the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of all forms of diabetes and its complications- ultimately leading to a cure.
