This position coordinates the clinical research activities associated with the Brooks/PHHP Research Collaboration. The role involves overseeing budget creation and allocation for multi-million-dollar grants, facilitating the preparation, negotiation, and management of study contracts, and coordinating record keeping for various studies. The position also contributes to the development of research funding proposals, works with Principal Investigators to develop and analyze clinical research activities, and educates/mentors research team members. Additionally, the role ensures regulatory compliance, participates in the promotion of research participant protections, and provides administrative regulatory support for research projects. It also involves strategic planning, event implementation, speaker recruitment, serving as a point of contact for various stakeholders, and assisting with grant applications and progress reports. The role may require flexibility for events outside traditional work hours and commuting to Jacksonville. Furthermore, it involves developing strategies for building relationships with internal and external research organizations, attending national/international meetings, facilitating seminars and symposia, fundraising, enhancing the Collaboration's visibility, representing the Collaboration on committees, and serving as a liaison. The position also proposes and creates communication materials, maintains communication lists, assists with marketing and social media content, develops and maintains contact lists, observes marketing trends, and provides communications support. Finally, the role contributes to budgetary oversight and planning, including preparing study budgets, monitoring allocations, coordinating with financial teams, serving as a point of contact for billing, processing financial documents, and monitoring grants and accounts.
