About The Position

This position provides assistance in support of clinical research studies within the College of Medicine (COM) Department of Internal Medicine / Division of Pulmonary Critical Care with oversight from the Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). The role assists with the implementation and coordination of studies, participates in the recruitment of study participants, performs behavioral or diagnostic testing, and assists with the collection, maintenance, and reporting of clinical research data. This is a patient-facing role and is required to be onsite and working in the hospital. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required as dictated by the approved clinical research trial/study. Being on call will be required and is determined based on staffing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• No experience is required for this position
• Computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications

Nice To Haves

• 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred
• Experience in research capacity desired
• Knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired
• Experience in phlebotomy may be desired
• Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired
